I See A Crown

I see a Crown. It's jewels are reflecting light. Their colors glitter. The gold is solid and bright. I can tell you what it looks like and I can tell you how it would feel to touch it. I can tell you it's truth - strong, steadfast, beautiful, priceless, royal, breath-taking. It garners awe.

However, being an onlooker means that I don't have a full view of each jewel. I don't really know how big they really are, the color or light it reflects when the sun shines right through it. I don't feel the hardness and the strength of the gold. I can't touch it's surface and know where it is smooth and where it has been molded into the most delicate of details. I can't experience it's being.

Everything shifts. I'm in the crown now. It's strength makes me unable to move as I feel the cold, hard gold around me. It's unmovable and so I am unmovable. Then I begin to rotate, drifting around the jewels one by one. I can see them in their entirety - their light and the colors being cast out from them, changing the atmosphere all around. They are different in nature from the gold and yet just as sure. I experience the crown's value and quality with all my senses, with all my being. Nothing that I will see from now on can convince me that it is stronger than this, more real than this, more tangible than this. I am in the crown.

It's an invitation. To come closer. To enter in. To literally feel the heart beat of the Lord throbbing around and within me. To feel His steadfastness and security, solid and sure. To be tingling with Healing, shaking with Power, ruined and rebuilt by Love Himself. I can no longer be content with being an onlooker or a student - filled with a level of knowledge but no insight. IN-sight. I get to see and know Him from within His very being. My awareness of His presence looks different. He is no longer just in front of me. He is the presence around and within me. And I will never be the same again.

"...I am in my Father, and you are in Me, and I am in you." John 14:11
